20 élèves de 1° sont partis ce vendredi, direction Atlanta, USA. Voici le programme du voyage.

Arrival at Atlanta Airport : AF 688 arrives at 4:55pm / Go home with host family

Saturday October 14:

➢ Homecoming dance- group activity- free for French students

o Meet at Ms Tambasco’s house 1565 Parkside Dr Milton 30004 around 6pm

o Go to dance as a group (French students and Americans who want to go as part of the group J)

Suggestions of activities for the weekend:

➢ Take them in the north mountains to see the leaves

➢ Do something halloweenish

Monday October 16 : SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Welcome breakfast in teacher’s cafeteria: 8:20 to 9:15 - 1st period

➢ Visit of the school- 2nd period (French students and a few American students)

➢ 3rd period: come get your brother/sister in 2203 for rest of the day.

➢ Lunch: cafeteria with host student

➢ Follow host sister’s/ brother’s schedule for rest of the day.

➢ Return home with sister/brother

Tuesday October 17 : SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Follow host sister’s schedule. Host students be sure to bring your friend to the correct room, at the correct time , and be sure to pick them up afterwardsJ

o 1st period- 9 French students to Ms Scott’s room to learn how to make biscuits

o 5th period- 9 French students to Ms Scott’s room to learn how to make biscuits

➢ Follow sister’s schedule rest of day

Chorus concert at Milton- free of charge for exchange students

Wednesday October 18 : ATLANTA ALL DAY

o Aquarium- 9:30 am

o Lunch in square/aquarium/or bring a sack lunch from home

o Coca Cola museum - visit the museum at 2pm

Thursday October 19 : SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Follow another student’s schedule- this will be given to students that morning.

➢ 3rd period: Chorus performance for French students only who were not able to go to the concert

➢ Rest of the day: follow the same person’s schedule as this morning

➢ Return home

Friday October 20 : SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Follow host sister’s schedule. Host students be sure to bring your friend to the correct room at the correct time and be sure to pick them up afterwards

o 1st period: 9 French students to Ms Scott’s room to teach how to make crepes (French students only)

o 5th period- 9 French students to Ms Scott’s room to teach how to make crepes (French students only)

Football game at Forsyth central

Saturday October 21 and Sunday October 22 with host family

Suggestions of what to do with your host student :

➢ Go on a hay ride

➢ Go to a pumpkin patch

➢ Go to a corn maze

➢ Go to a haunted house

Monday October 23 : ATLANTA ALL DAY

o CNN center – 10:20am

o Hard Rock Café- 12pm

o Westin Hotel - go up the elevator at 1:30/2pm

o Shopping at Lennox Square Mall

Tuesday October 24 - SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Follow school schedule of another host sister/brother- will be organized and handed out that morning

➢ 3rd period: orchestra performance for French students only

➢ 4th-6th – continue following schedule of your sister/brother from this morning

➢ 7th period – Cirque performance for you ! For French students only

o Hands-on after performance if you want to try

Wednesday October 25 - ATLANTA ALL DAY

o Martin Luther King- 10:30 am- birth home- national park service from 10 to 4pm park ranger’s desk at freedom hall

o Varsity 12/12:30pm

o Margaret Mitchell House 2pm

Thursday October 26 - SCHOOL ALL DAY

➢ Follow host sister’s/ brother’s schedule for rest of the day.

➢ 3rd period: band performance- French students only

➢ Lunch with your host brother/sister

➢ Continue following schedule with your assigned student

➢ Return home with host brother/sister

Farewell party - carve out pumpkins and eat… come dressed up in a costume? Time and Place TBA

Friday October 27 : SCHOOL ALL DAY- departure day

➢ Bring suitcases to school (room 2203)

➢ Follow host brother/sister school schedule

➢ Leaving school for the international airport by bus at 2pm

➢ Departure flight: AF 689 at 20:20 (8:20pm)
